Helsingør IF
Helsingør IF , or HIF for short , is a sports club from the Danish town of Helsingør , which is particularly famous for its women's handball team .
The women's handball team was able to become Danish champions for the first time in 1963 and then reach the final in the European Cup, today's Champions League . In the semifinals, Eimsbütteler TV could still be beaten 6: 7 and 8: 2, but in the final, Helsingør had to admit defeat to Rapid Bucharest just under 13:14 . In the national championship, the club won the title two more times in 1983 and 1984.
