The Asociația Sport Club Corona 2010 Brașov (until 2010 Sport Club Municipal Fenestela 68 Brașov ) is a Romanian ice hockey club from Brașov , which participates with its professional team in the Romanian ice hockey league and the international MOL league .

history

The association was founded in 2007. Since 2010 it has been run as the ice hockey section under the umbrella of the ASC Corona 2010. In the 2011/12 season , the club was runner-up in the ice hockey championship. A year later, the team succeeded in the Romanian Ice Hockey Cup with a 3-2 final win over HSC Csíkszereda their first major success at national level. In 2014, this success was exceeded by winning the championship . In December of the same year they secured their second cup victory. Three years later, in spring 2017, the second championship in the club's history was celebrated. The third title was brought to the Carpathian city in 2019.

The club's home games are played in the Patinoarul Olimpic (Olympic Arena) in Brașov, which was built in 2000 . The ice rink has around 2,000 seats, 1,600 of which are seats. Previously they played in the Mujegpalya ice rink in Gheorgheni .
