The Clubul Sportiv Municipal Dunărea Galaţi is an ice hockey team from Galati , Romania , whose senior team Gladiators in the Romanian Hockey League play. In 2016 the club also played a season in the multinational MOL league .

After the team of Gloria CSU first took part in the ice hockey championship in 1932 , there was a club in the 2nd division from 1950 with Lokomotiva Galați . The club has been playing in the top Romanian league without interruption since 2009. The greatest success in the club's history was winning the Romanian championship in 2015 and 2016. The club also won the Romanian ice hockey cup in 1988 and 2017.

Venue

The club plays its games in the "Dunărea" ice rink. The ice rink was built in 1970 and has a capacity of 5,000 (according to other sources 4,000) spectators.
