The HC Csíkszereda ( Romanian : HC Miercurea Ciuc ) was a Romanian ice hockey team from Miercurea Ciuc , which was founded in 2002 and played in the Romanian ice hockey league. In addition, the club took part in the 2007/08 season in the Hungarian Borsodi Jégkorong League , which was replaced by the MOL League . In 2009 the HC won the championship in this new division.
history
In 2002 the HC Csíkszereda was founded and from then on played in the Romanian ice hockey league, the highest division in the country. In 2007, the HC Csíkszereda was included in the Hungarian Borsodi Jégkorong League , in which he has since participated in addition to the game operation of the Romanian ice hockey league. Later a supranational ice hockey league was founded under the name MOL League , the first championship of which was won by HC Csíkszereda.
After the 2008/09 season, the club was dissolved for financial reasons.
