Timm Schneider (born June 15, 1988 in Giessen ) is a German handball player . The right-hander plays in the 2nd handball league at VfL Gummersbach in the left back space .

Career

Schneider began his career at HSG Pohlheim. The HSG Wetzlar signed him on July 1, 2007. In the 2007/08 season he made 10 Bundesliga appearances, his contract with the HSG Wetzlar ran until June 2011. First, he received a second game right at the second division TV Hüttenberg . In January 2011 he moved entirely to Hüttenberg and in 2011 was promoted to the Bundesliga. In December 2011 Schneider announced that he would switch to TBV Lemgo after the 2011/12 season. From summer 2015 he was under contract with the first division club MT Melsungen . Schneider has been running for VfL Gummersbach since summer 2020 .

Timm Schneider was appointed to a German national B team several times in 2013 and 2014. He was in the preliminary squad for the German senior team for the play-off games for the 2015 World Cup against Poland in June 2014 and made his debut on October 29, 2014 in the game against Finland in the Gummersbacher Schwalbe-Arena .
