Alexander Hermann (born December 10, 1991 in Linz ) is an Austrian handball player .

Career

The 1.92 meter tall backcourt player played from 2012 in the Handball League Austria at SG Handball West Wien . Before that he played at HC Linz AG . From summer 2015 he played for the German club Bergischer HC . From the 2017/18 season, Hermann played for HSG Wetzlar . For the 2019/20 season he moved to VfL Gummersbach .

For the Austrian national team , Alexander Hermann has played 77 international matches so far , in which he scored 133 goals. He took part in the 2014 European Handball Championship .

His twin brother Maximilian Hermann also plays handball.
