Maximilian Hermann (born December 10, 1991 in Linz ) is an Austrian handball player .
Career
The 1.94 meters tall and 96 kilograms heavy right back player began playing handball at HC Linz AG . In the 2009/10 season he was named "Newcomer of the Year" by the league . From 2011 to 2013 he played for league competitor HIT medalp Tirol . For the 2013/14 season he moved to the German Bundesliga promoted Bergischer HC , with whom he signed a two-year contract. On November 24, 2016 it was announced that Hermann, together with his teammate Moritz Preuss , would not extend his contract with Bergischer HC, which was due to expire at the end of the season, and would join league rivals VfL Gummersbach . Due to a shoulder injury, the backcourt player did not appear in any competition game for the Lindenstadt team. In 2018/19 the Linz native moved to Alpla HC Hard in the spusu league . He will return to HC Linz AG in summer 2020.
Maximilian Hermann has played 53 international matches for the Austrian national team , scoring 103 goals.

His twin brother Alexander also plays handball.
