Ante Ešegović (born April 12, 1996 in Bregenz ) is an Austrian handball player .

Career

A native of Bregenz began in his youth when Bregenz Handball Handball to play. On September 24, 2011, at the age of 15, he played his first game under 20 for Vorarlberg. One season later, on November 10, 2012, he was in the first team's squad for the first time against HC Linz AG . Ešegović scored his first goal in men's handball on September 5, 2013 against SG Handball West Vienna . After the 2015/16 season he was voted “Newcomer of the Year”.

In the 2014/15 season he took part in the lower play-off of the Handball League Austria with the Austrian youth national team born in 1994 . As part of this team, he scored 20 hits, converting nine of them from the seven meter point. In 2015/16 he ran again for a youth national team in the lower play-off of the league, with 28 goals he was the best scorer of his team. After several assignments for the youth national teams, he plays for the Austrian men's national handball team .
