David Brandfellner (born November 20, 1992 in Vienna ) is an Austrian handball player .

Career

Born in Vienna, he played for the first team of the handball club Fivers Margareten in the Handball League Austria for the first time when he was only 15 years old . For Margaretner , the right winger was previously active in various youth teams. As a youth player, Brandfellner was also part of the youth team of the Vienna Handball Association, where he played with future teammates such as Martin Fuger and Leopold Hellerich . With the handball club Fivers Margareten he won the Austrian championship in 2011 , 2016 and 2018 , and in 2011 he was also voted "Newcomer of the Year" by the league. Furthermore, he has already won the ÖHB Cup six times with the Margaretners ( 2009 , 2012 , 2013 , 2015 , 2016 and 2017 ) . Since 2011 he has also been repeatedly active for the national team.
