Boris Tanic (born June 22, 1996 ) is an Austrian handball goalkeeper .

Career

Tanic began to play handball at the handball club Fivers Margareten when he was young . Due to his good performance in various age groups, the left-hander was called up for the youth national team in 1996. He played his first game as part of the Viennese fighting team at the HLA Supercup 2014, in which Tanic was named Most Valuable Player of his team. The handball goalkeeper has played in the first team's squad since the 2015/16 season . In 2016 Tanic celebrated his first title with the Viennese with the ÖHB Cup , and the team also secured the title in the Austrian championship . In 2016/17 the handball goalkeeper was able to win the cup again.
