Eric Damböck (born September 6, 1999 ) is an Austrian handball player .

Career

Damböck began to play handball at Union St. Pölten when he was young . After a runner-up state championship with the youth team under 16, in which Damböck was awarded as the best circular runner, the Lower Austrian moved to the youth team at the Fivers Margareten handball club . With the Margaretners he was able to secure the title of national champion in the U16 and U18 competitions in 2015/16. In the 2016/17 season , the right-hander played for the first time as a winger in the Handball League Austria . In 2020 he was also voted "Newcomer of the Year" by the league.
