The 2011/12 ÖHB Cup was the 25th edition of the men's handball cup competition. The Fivers Margareten handball club won the cup with a win over Alpla HC Hard .

Main rounds

1 round

Seven representatives from the regional associations, nine teams from the Handball Bundesliga Austria and seven teams from the Handball League Austria take part in the first round. The clubs lower in the league always had home rights; if two teams of the same class were drawn, the club drawn first had preference. UHC Salzburg , WAT Fünfhaus and ATV Auto Pichler Trofaiach were assigned a bye.

The first round games took place from October 11th to November 3rd, 2011. The winners of the individual games moved on to the second round.
