Career

Born in Carinthia, he began his active professional career in 2008 with Aon Fivers Margareten . Before that, he was already active for the same club in the under-21 team. Before moving to Vienna in 2007, he played in various youth leagues in Carinthia.

In favor of his physics studies, the circle player ended his handball career in 2012 to write his master's thesis in Munich.
