Tobias Schopf (born December 25, 1985 in Eggenburg ) is an Austrian handball player .

Career

Schopf began to play handball at USV Langenlois when he was young. As early as 2002, at the age of 16, the right-hander switched to the youth department of the UHK Krems . With the Lower Austrians , the winger was able to secure the under 21 championship title in 2005/06 and 2007/08.

During his time in the fighting team , Schopf was able to secure the cup title in 2009/10 . He also advanced to become one of the most dangerous players in the Handball League Austria and scored the most goals in the regular season 2009/10 , 2010/11 , 2013/14 , 2015/16 and 2016/17 , the winger ended his career in 2018.

For the UHK Krems he took part in the 2005/06 and 2008/09 seasons in the EHF Challenge Cup , in 2006/07 in the EHF Cup and in 2010/11 in the European Cup Winners' Cup.

He was in the Austrian national team 14 times .
