Christian Aigner (born June 2, 1985 in Salzburg ) is a former Austrian handball player .
Career
Born in Salzburg, he played at UHC Salzburg in his youth . In 2003 he started his active professional career with the record champions A1 Bregenz , where he stayed until his move to ULZ Schwaz in 2007 . Since the cooperation between the ULZ Schwaz and HIT Innsbruck he has been active for the HLA team of Handball Tirol . After the 2014/15 season , Aigner ended his career as a player and switched to the club's supervisory staff as goalkeeping coach.
Aigner has already played for the Austrian national handball team several times, and he made his debut on December 20, 2011 against Algeria.
