The 2011/12 women’s ÖHB Cup was the 25th staging of the Austrian indoor handball cup competition. The defending champions were the women from Hypo Niederösterreich, who also successfully defended the trophy in the final against the team from ZV Wiener Neustadt.
The twelve teams of Women Handball Austria (the second team from Hypo Niederösterreich and the relegated UHC Stockerau did not take part), seven teams from the second-rate women's handball league and a national representative were eligible to participate in the ÖHB-Pokal. So there were 18 clubs playing for the 2011/12 cup.
