Philip Zangerl (born July 14, 1984 in Schwaz ) is a former Austrian handball player .

Career

Born in Schwaz, he began his active professional career in 2004 at ULZ Schwaz . Before that he was already active for the same club in various youth leagues.

Already in 2004 Zangerl rose to the handball league Austria with the ULZ Schwaz . In 2011 he was able to win the ÖHB-Cup with the Tyroleans and thus participate in the 2011/12 season with the ULZ Schwaz in the European Cup Winners' Cup (handball) , making his first appearance in an international competition. Since the cooperation between ULZ Schwaz and HIT Innsbruck , he has been playing for the joint HLA team Handball Tirol . After the 2014/15 season , the backcourt player ended his career.
