The rectory was mentioned in a document as early as 1657, but has only served as a rectory since 1910. The originally ground floor building was converted into a mighty, two-story building with a mansard roof at the beginning of the 19th century .

The former hospital church west of the town center serves today as a funeral hall, although the church originally belonged to the Martinsspital, which was built as a poor house in 1642/43. The hospital adjacent to the north was completely rebuilt and gutted in 1977.

The former district court was built in the 17th and 18th centuries, although parts of it may also date from the 16th century. The facade of the baroque building was structured by plaster bands, inside baroque barrel vaults and lancet barrel vaults, some with cross ridges, were drawn in on all floors. The hook-shaped outbuildings housed the baroque farm wing and the prison.

The six-sided fountain was created in 1645 by Johann Spaz. He was originally in Schlägl Abbey and was transferred in 1858. The fountain figure, a man with a sun, comes from the coat of arms of Abbot Greysing.

The parish church of Aigen is one of the most important late historical sacred buildings in Upper Austria. The neo-Gothic, high, three-aisled church with a five-bay staggered hall was built after two serious fires between 1897 and 1901 according to plans by Raimund Jeblinger . The uniform, neo-Gothic furnishings include a high altar by Josef Linser , two neo-Gothic side altars and a neo-Gothic pulpit.

Parts of this town house date from around 1600, the facade has a bay window on consoles. While there are barrel vaults in the cellar, a memorial plaque refers to Adalbert Stifter's stay in this house.

The broad town house on Marktplatz 13 has a volute gable and a triangular top with a tooth cut frieze. The wide bay window on consoles was built around 1900. Inside there are lancet barrel vaults, some with cross ridges, and baroque doors.

Parts of the arable bourgeois house date from the 16th century, the baroque renovation took place at the end of the 17th century. Inside there are barrel vaults and lancet cap vaults, a Riemling ceiling with carved armor (1690) and cap vaults from the 19th century. The partly wrought iron shutters are also striking.

The Kalvarienbergkapelle was built on a slope north of Aigen in the middle of the 17th century. The baroque round building with three arcade openings has a protruding conical roof and houses a wooden crucifixion group by Johann Worath from the construction period.

The former farm tavern was built in 1619 and served as a restaurant until 1976. The wide, two-story building with a hipped roof houses a wax drawing workshop and a wax museum. The facade was accentuated by means of plaster frame structuring and early baroque window roofing.

The Hofrichterstöckl was built around 1640 and serves as a municipal office. The broad, two-storey building has a hipped roof and a remarkable, early Baroque decorated rectangular portal that bears the date 1640.

The small, late Gothic hall church with adaptations in the style of the late renaissance and the early baroque was renovated in the 19th century in a neo-Gothic style and served until 1785 as the “people's church”. In the middle of the 19th century it was converted into the abbots' burial place.

Probably first founded by the Cistercians in 1202/03. In 1218 the canons reestablished it. After the destruction by the Hussites, the monastery complex was rebuilt by 1448. Further rebuilding took place after the peasant riots of 1594 and 1626 and after a fire in 1850.

Late Gothic hall building with a retracted polygonal choir and a mighty tower, characterized by the early Baroque redesign. The church was built around 1500 and changed to Baroque style between 1641 and 1644.
