The war memorial is located northwest of Götzendorf Castle and was built in 1923 and redesigned in 1978. A figure of St. John Nepomuk from the 18th century belongs to the war memorial. As part of the redesign of the local square in Götzendorf in 2007, the memorial stones of the war memorial were removed from the statue of St. Nepomuks separated and found a new site at the castle church.
