Krešimir Maraković (born October 1, 1980 in Pula , SR Croatia ) is a Croatian handball player .

Career

After Maraković won the Croatian Cup with RK Umag in 2003 , the 1.88-meter backcourt player took part in an international tournament, the European Cup Winners' Cup , for the first time in 2003/04 . From the following season he was in the squad of the RK Perutnina Pipo IPC Čakovec for two years, with which he competed in the EHF Cup in 2004/05 . After the Croatian went to the IK Sävehof in Sweden for a few months in 2006 , he became involved with the Kadetten Schaffhausen . With the Swiss he took part in the EHF Champions League for the first time . In 2008/09 he went back to his home country for one season, where he also played in the EHF Challenge Cup . A year later, the Pula- born athlete ran for RK Vardar Skopje again in the EHF Champions League. Maraković has been playing for ULZ Schwaz since the 2010/11 season, in which he won the ÖHB Cup . Furthermore, he was named Legionnaire of the Year by the Handball League Austria this season . From the establishment of the syndicate between ULZ Schwaz and HIT Innsbruck , called Handball Tirol , in the 2013/14 to 2014/15 season , Maraković played for the Tyroleans.
