The Kadetten Schaffhausen are a Swiss handball club from Schaffhausen . In 1999 they became cup winners for the first time and in 2005 they became Swiss handball champions for the first time. Overall, the Cadets are the record holders with 8 cup wins in the Swiss Cup and with 12 Supercup successes also in the Supercup, the game between the champions and cup winners or cup finalists from the previous year, each shortly before the start of a new season. With several titles as Swiss champions in the U 21 Elite and U 19 Elite Juniors, the cadets, who are successfully represented in all the top national junior leagues, are also one of the best clubs in Swiss handball when it comes to promoting young talent. The club has been playing in the newly built BBC Arena in Schaffhausen since the 2011/2012 season , which has a capacity of around 2,400 seats.
