Mait Patrail (born April 11, 1988 in Põlva , Estonian SSR , USSR ) is an Estonian handball player .
Career
Patrail started playing handball at Põlva Serviti. From the 2004/05 season, the back player was used in the highest Estonian league and in the Baltic league. With Põlva Serviti he won the Estonian championship in 2007 and 2008, and in 2008 the championship of the Baltic league. In 2008 he moved to the Swiss first division club Kadetten Schaffhausen . With Schaffhausen, Patrail won the Swiss championship in 2010 and 2011 . Another success with the Cadets was reaching the EHF Cup final in 2009/10 . In 2011 he joined the German Bundesliga club TBV Lemgo . On April 27, 2012, the contract with Mait Patrail at TBV Lemgo was terminated with immediate effect, despite the term until 2013, and he moved to Al Sadd Doha in Qatar. In summer 2012, Patrail returned to the Bundesliga, where he played for TSV Hannover-Burgdorf . He has been under contract with league rivals Rhein-Neckar Löwen since the 2020/21 season .
Patrail has made 60 appearances for Estonia so far. In 2008 Patrail took part in the Junior European Championship and was the tournament's top scorer with 83 goals.
Mait Patrail was named handball player of the year six times in a row in Estonia from 2006 to 2011.

Private
His father Maidu is a former handball player who took part in the European Cup with Põlva. His sister Janeli is a member of the Estonian national handball team.
