Jerry Tollbring (born September 13, 1995 in Norrtälje ) is a Swedish handball player who is under contract with the German club Rhein-Neckar Löwen .
Career
Tollbring initially played for Rimbo HK . In 2013 he joined the Elitserien i handboll för herrar together with his two brothers Ken and Jeff and his father Dick, who was a trainer at Rimbo HK . In 2014 Tollbring switched to league competitor IFK Kristianstad , with whom he won the championship in 2015, 2016 and 2017. He took part in the EHF Europa Pokal 2014/15 and the EHF Champions League 2015/16 with Kristianstad . Since the 2017/18 season he has been under contract with the German Bundesliga club Rhein-Neckar Löwen . The Rhein-Neckar Löwen he won in 2017 and 2018 the DHB Supercup and in 2018 the DHB Cup .
In the summer of 2015, the 1.82-meter-tall left winger played with the Swedish junior national team at the U-21 World Cup in Brazil . Tollbring, who has played 71 international matches for the Swedish national team , took part in the 2016 European Championship in Poland . In July 2016 he was appointed to the squad for the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil by the Swedish national team coach Ola Lindgren and Staffan Olsson . At the 2018 European Handball Championship , Jerry Tollbring won the silver medal with the Swedish national team.
His sister Cassandra also plays handball professionally.
