Jesper Claes Martin Nielsen (born August 30, 1989 in Norrköping ) is a Swedish handball player .
Career
Jesper Nielsen began with handball at Norrköpings AIS , he came to IK Sävehof through HP Warta in 2008 , with which he won the Swedish championship in 2010, 2011 and 2012. In the 2012/13 season he was elected to the all-start team of the Swedish elite series and was named the best defender of the season. For the 2013/14 season the 2 meter switched pivot player for German Bundesliga foxes Berlin , with whom he 2014 the DHB Cup won. In 2015 he became club world champion and won the EHF Cup in 2015 . In the summer of 2016, he joined the French first division club Paris Saint-Germain . With Paris he won the French championship in 2017 and 2018 and the French cup in 2018. Jesper Nielsen has been playing for the Rhein-Neckar Löwen since the 2018/19 season . With the Rhein-Neckar Löwen he won the DHB Supercup in 2018.
For the Swedish national team , Nielsen has played 110 international matches so far , in which he scored 143 goals. He took part in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro .
Private
Nielsen's friend Frida Tegstedt also plays handball. For the 2014/15 season , the Swedish national player changes to the Spreefüxxen , the women's team of the Füchse Berlin.
