Frida Tegstedt (born July 17, 1987 in Gothenburg ) is a former Swedish handball player .
Career
Frida Tegstedt played in the Swedish first division at IK Sävehof , with whom she was Swedish champion six times. With Sävehof, she took part in the EHF Champions League and the EHF Cup several times . For the 2014/15 season , the 1.80 meter tall circle runner moved to the German Bundesliga promoted Füchse Berlin . From the summer of 2016 she was under contract with the French first division club Issy Paris . She ended her career in the summer of 2017.
Tegstedt was a member of the Swedish national team , for which she scored 43 goals in 51 international matches . She took part in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro .
Private
Tegstedt's friend Jesper Nielsen also plays handball. The Swedish international moved from IK Sävehof to Germany in 2013 for Bundesliga club Füchse Berlin . Her sister Sofia played for IK Sävehof in the top Swedish handball division.
