The 2014/15 season the German Handball League Women was the 30th in their history. 14 teams played for the German championship. The defending champion from the previous year, the Thuringian HC , became German champions . The last two clubs have to join the 2nd handball league . Füchse Berlin , SVG Celle and HSG Bad Wildungen were promoted from the 2nd division of the previous year .
mode
The mode is everyone against everyone with a home and away game. The first-placed team in the final table is the German champions. The last two teams are relegated directly to the 2nd division. In the event of a tie, the better goal difference decides on the placement. If the goal difference is the same, the direct comparison of the teams with the same points decides. If this does not lead to a result, playoffs are scheduled.
