Danick Albertine Snelder (born May 22, 1990 in Pijnacker ) is a Dutch handball player .

Career

Danick Snelder played for Oliveo Pijnacker from 1995 to 2005, then she moved to Omni SV Hellas Den Haag. From 2010, the 1.78-meter standing Circle runner in the German Bundesliga Thüringer HC under contract, with whom she 2011 , 2012 , 2013 , 2014 , 2015 and 2016 , the German Championship and 2011 and 2013 the DHB Cup won. From the 2016/17 season she ran for the Hungarian club Ferencváros Budapest . With Ferencváros, she won the Hungarian Cup in 2017. For the 2020/21 season, she switched to league rivals Siófok KC .

Snelder is a member of the Dutch national team , with which she participated in the 2010 European Championships in Denmark and Norway, as well as the 2011 and 2013 World Championships . She also took part in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro . Snelder won the silver medal at the 2016 European Championships and the bronze medal at the 2017 World Championships . At the 2019 World Cup , she won the World Cup title in the final against the Spanish selection.
