Svenja Huber (born October 23, 1985 in Mannheim ) is a German handball player .

The 1.68 m tall student began her handball career in 1992 at SG Heddesheim. She celebrated her greatest success there in the 2001/02 season, in which she won the South German championship title with the B youth team. From the 2002/03 season she played for TSG Ketsch , with whom she was promoted to the 1st Bundesliga in 2005. For the 2008/09 season, the right winger moved to DJK / MJC Trier , where she signed a two-year contract. After the contract ended, Huber joined the second division TuS Weibern , with whom she was promoted to the Bundesliga in 2012. In December 2013 she moved to Thuringia HC . With the THC she won the German championship in 2014, 2015 and 2016. From summer 2016 she was under contract with Borussia Dortmund . For the 2019/20 season she moved to Bayer 04 Leverkusen .

Svenja Huber made her debut on October 14, 2006 in Verl for the German national team against the Netherlands . She played 54 international matches in which she scored 171 goals. In 2018 she resigned from the national team.
