Mia Zschocke (born May 28, 1998 in Aschaffenburg ) is a German handball player who plays for the Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen .

Career

Mia Zschocke started playing handball at TSV Lohr at the age of four. In 2014, the backcourt player moved to Bayer Leverkusen . Here she initially ran for the 2nd team in the 3rd division and in the youth division of Bayer Leverkusen. With the A-youth she won the German championship in 2015 and the German runner-up in 2016 and 2017. On September 25, 2016, she made her Bundesliga debut against HC Leipzig . Since then she has been part of the Bundesliga squad.

Zschocke participated with the German youth national team at the U-17 European Championship 2015 in Macedonia , the U-18 World Championship 2016 in Slovakia , the U-19 European Championship 2017 in Slovenia and the U-20 World Championship 2018 in Hungary . She made her debut for the German national team on September 29, 2018.
