Iveta Korešová (born April 3, 1989 in Písek ; born Iveta Luzumová ) is a Czech handball player .

Career

Iveta Korešová played from 1997 in her home at Sokol Pisek, with them in the seasons 2009/10, 2010/11 and 2011/12 at the EHF Challenge Cup took part. In the 2012/13 season, the 1.76 meter tall back player ran for the French first division club Mios Biganos. In the summer of 2013, she moved to the German Bundesliga club Thuringian HC . In 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2018 she won the German championship. Korešová has been on pause due to her pregnancy since February 2020.

Korešová is a member of the Czech national handball team , for which she has played 108 international matches so far . She took part in the European Championships in Serbia in 2012 , as well as in the World Championships in 2013 , where she was the most successful Czech thrower with 30 hits, 13 of them by seven meters .
