Julyja Oleksijiwna Snopowa ( Ukrainian : Юлія Олексіївна Снопова; born November 30, 1985 in Kherson ) is a Ukrainian handball player . The 1.83 meter tall back player runs for the Ukrainian national team .

Career

Julyja Snopowa began playing handball in her home country at HC Dnepryanka Cherson, with which she participated in the EHF Challenge Cup in the 2002/03, 2003/04 and 2005/06 seasons . She later played for Galytchanka Lviv and HC Sparta Krywyj Rih before moving to France for HAC handball in Le Havre in 2010 . After she played one season each in Turkey with Maliye Milli Piyango SK, with whom she reached the quarter-finals of the EHF Cup in 2011/12 , in Slovakia with IUVENTA Michalovce and in Romania with SCM Craiova, Snopowa signed a one-year contract in August 2014 at Thuringian HC . With the THC she won the championship in 2015. She has been playing for Muratpaşa Belediyesi SK in Turkey since the 2015/16 season .
