The men's U-21 handball world championship was held in Brazil from July 19 to August 2, 2015 . The organizer was the International Handball Federation (IHF). The defending champion was Sweden. France won the title for the first time by beating Denmark 26:24 in the final.

Participating teams

As the host of the tournament, Brazil is automatically qualified. Denmark qualified as the winner of the U-19 World Handball Championship in 2013 , as did Germany as the winner of the U-20 European Men's Handball Championship in 2014 and Sweden as runner-up.
