Simon Hald Jensen (born September 28, 1994 in Aalborg ) is a Danish handball player . He is under contract with the German club SG Flensburg-Handewitt .

Career

Simon Hald Jensen has played for Danish first division club Aalborg Håndbold since 2009, with whom he became Danish champions in 2013 and 2017. With Aalborg he took in the seasons 2013/14 , 2014/15 and 2017/18 at the EHF Champions League in part and 2015/16 at the EHF Cup . For the 2018/19 season, the 2.03 meter tall runner moved to the German Bundesliga club SG Flensburg-Handewitt, with whom he signed a three-year contract. He won the German championship in 2019 with SG Flensburg-Handewitt.

Hald Jensen was with the Danish U-19 national team U-19 World Champion 2013 ; at the tournament he was voted Most Valuable Player. On June 20, 2015, he made his debut in the international match against Poland in the Danish men's national team . He became world champion at the 2019 World Cup.
