The handball Bundesliga 2018/19 (full name after the main sponsor DKB Handball-Bundesliga 2018/19 ) was the 41st of the single-track seasons and the 53rd season of the highest German division in men's handball in the history of the Bundesliga . The season started on August 23, 2018 and ended with the last matchday on June 9, 2019.

The climbers for the new season were Bergische HC and SG BBM Bietigheim . The latter rose again at the end of the season. Second relegated was the last remaining founding member of the Bundesliga, VfL Gummersbach .

This season, 18 teams are playing in the " everyone against everyone " mode with one home and one away game for the German championship. In the event of a tie, the better goal difference decides. The first in the table on the last day of the match is German champions 2019, the two last placed are relegated to the 2nd division .
