Handball Bundesliga 2003/04

The Handball Bundesliga 2004/05 was the 27th of the single-track seasons and the 39th season of the highest German division in men's handball in the history of the Bundesliga . The season began on September 10, 2004 and ended with the last game day on May 29, 2005.

18 teams played for the German championship. The first in the table on the last day of the match is German champions 2005. New season promoters were TuS N-Lübbecke , HSG Düsseldorf and SV Post Schwerin . In addition, the DHB Cup was played for the 31st time.

The German champion in 2005 was the THW Kiel team for the eleventh time in the club's history .

TUSEM Essen , SG Wallau / Massenheim (both license withdrawals due to bankruptcy ) and SV Post Schwerin had to relegate from the Bundesliga to the 2nd Bundesliga .
