The handball Bundesliga 2005/06 was the 28th of the single-track seasons and the total of the 40th season of the highest German division in men's handball in the history of the Bundesliga . The season began on September 2, 2005 and ended with the last game day on June 3, 2006.

DHB Cup
The HSV Hamburg team won the 2005/06 DHB Cup . She defeated the SG Kronau / Östringen team 26:25 (9:10) in the final on April 9, 2006 in the Color Line Arena in Hamburg .
