The handball Bundesliga 2005/06 was the 28th of the single-track seasons and the total of the 40th season of the highest German division in men's handball in the history of the Bundesliga . The season began on September 2, 2005 and ended with the last game day on June 3, 2006.

18 teams played for the German championship. The first in the table on the last day of the game is German champions 2006. The promoters for the new season were 1. SV Concordia Delitzsch , MT Melsungen and SG Kronau / Östringen . In addition, the DHB Cup was played for the 32nd time.
