Handball Bundesliga 1982/83

The handball Bundesliga 1983/84 was the seventh of the single-track seasons and the total of the 18th season of the highest German division in men's handball in the history of the handball Bundesliga . The season began on September 10, 1983 and ended with the last game day on May 5, 1984.

14 teams played for the German championship. The first in the table on the last day of the match was German champions 1984. HC TuRa Bergkamen , TBV Lemgo and TuSpo Nürnberg were promoted to the new season . In addition, the DHB Cup was played for the tenth time.

German champion in 1984 was the team from TV Großwallstadt for the fifth time in the club's history .

Frisch Auf Göppingen was the first to be relegated because of the violation of the amateur statute. VfL Günzburg and TuSpo Nürnberg also had to relegate from the handball Bundesliga to the 2nd Bundesliga .
