With its 17 departments, VfL Pfullingen is very successful at all club and sports levels. An important strand in the closely interwoven organizational structure is youth work in several departments. With well over 250 trainers, qualified trainers and volunteers, the association supports the important pillar of sporting education and training for young people.
Club structure
The management of the association has been based on several organizational levels for many years. In addition to the two main club presidents, Sven Schauenburg and Hans Finkbohner, who play a key role in shaping organizational growth in addition to their representative tasks, a five-person team under the leadership of Managing Director Tobias Stoll directs the operational business of VfL Pfullingen. With the two service points in the heart of Pfullingen (Marktstrasse 8) and the full-time office outside Pfullingen, the association offers contact points for its members and interested parties who would like to find out more about the association and its offers from Monday to Friday.
FSJ in the club
Every year, VfL Pfullingen offers young people interested in sports the opportunity to do a voluntary social year in the club. In addition to everyday business, direct customer service, training offers for children, support for various school cooperations and the organization of various projects and public appearances are part of the tasks of an FSJ student.
Departments
VfL Pfullingen unites a total of 17 departments under one roof. The athletes from Pfullingen are very successful and at a high level in many areas. Some athletes have even worn the Pfullinger colors beyond the national borders and made them known. The VfLler are active in the following sports: boxing, fistball, fencing, soccer, handball, judo, athletics, rehab sports, senior citizens, skiing, tennis, table tennis, triathlon, gymnastics, volleyball.
KISS & Co./ball school
With the establishment and licensing of a children's sports school (KISS), a ball school for the little ones and the inclusion of offers in health and rehabilitation sports, VfL shows that it has recognized the new requirements at the beginning of the 21st century, and will actively take them up and shape them.
