Sebastian Preiß (born February 8, 1981 in Ansbach ) is a German national handball player .
Career
His career began in the handball Bundesliga at THW Kiel , with which he became German champion twice . There he initially had a second game right at TSV Altenholz . From 2005 to 2013, played pivot player when TBV Lemgo . For the 2013/14 season, Sebastian Preiß moved back to the second division HC Erlangen , with whom he was promoted to the 1st Bundesliga in 2014 and 2016 . For the 2016/17 season Preiß switched to the HF Springe .
Preiss made his international debut on January 4, 2002 in Balingen against Switzerland. With the German national team he became world champion in his own country in 2007. For this triumph he was awarded the silver bay leaf . He played a total of 145 international matches in which he scored 362 goals.
