Marcel Schiller (born August 15, 1991 in Dettingen an der Erms) is a German handball player .

Athletic career

Schiller began playing handball at TSV Dettingen / Erms in his youth, from there he went to TV 1893 Neuhausen in 2006 , where he played in the first men's team from 2008, with which he was promoted to the handball Bundesliga in 2012 . After the immediate relegation, the 1.89 meter tall and 94 kg heavy left winger moved to Frisch Auf Göppingen for the 2013/14 season . With Frisch Auf Göppingen he won the EHF Cup in 2016 in the final in Nantes and defended this title in the final in Göppingen in 2017.

National team

Schiller made his debut in the German national team on June 18, 2017 . In December 2017, Schiller was nominated by national coach Christian Prokop for the extended squad for the European Championship 2018 . He has played 7 games so far, in which he scored 24 goals.
