Marco Rentschler (born December 28, 1994 in Bietigheim-Bissingen ) is a German handball player who is under contract with the Bundesliga club Frisch Auf Göppingen .

Career

Marco Rentschler played in his youth at SG BBM Bietigheim , with whose B youth team he was South German champion. From the 2013/14 season , the 1.85 meter right winger was part of the Bietigheim men's team, with which he played in the 2nd Bundesliga . There he scored 88 goals and got into the team in 2014 with the first division on. In summer 2015 Rentschler switched to Frisch Auf Göppingen . There, his cruciate ligament tore during training before the start of the season . With Göppingen he won the EHF Cup in 2016 and 2017 .

In addition to handball, Rentschler studies business administration .
