Holger Glandorf (born March 30, 1983 in Osnabrück ) is a former German handball player . He played for SG Flensburg-Handewitt in the first handball league in the right backcourt . Glandorf scored the most field goals in Bundesliga history.

With a height of 1.97 m and a body weight of 88 kg, Glandorf, who is relatively light compared to other handball players, played in the Bundesliga with HSG Nordhorn from 2001 onwards . He was runner-up with Nordhorn in 2002 , took part in the Final Four of the DHB Cup in 2005 and 2008 and won the EHF Cup in 2008 . On February 14th, 2009 the TBV Lemgo announced the immediate engagement of Holger Glandorf. After almost ten years in Nordhorn, he moved to Lippern after the HSG Nordhorn announced that it would file for bankruptcy at the Nordhorn District Court on February 16, 2009 . With Lemgo, he won the EHF Cup again in 2010 . From the 2011/2012 season Glandorf stood at SG Flensburg-Handewitt under contract with which he 2012 the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup and in 2014 the EHF Champions League won. On December 20, 2014, Glandorf suffered an Achilles tendon rupture in the 26:22 home win in the state derby against THW Kiel and was unable to do so for a long time. After the 2019/20 season, Glandorf ended his career and moved to the SG Flensburg-Handewitt office.

National team

On January 4, 2003, Holger Glandorf made his international debut for the German national team in Stuttgart against Hungary . His greatest success was winning the 2007 World Cup in Germany. For this triumph he was awarded the Silver Laurel Leaf . At the European Handball Championship in 2008 he was the top scorer of the German team with 36 goals. On September 1, 2014 Glandorf announced his resignation from the national team, but made his national team comeback on January 9, 2017 in a World Cup preparatory game against Austria. At the World Cup in France, he was re-nominated for the DHB squad before the last group match, but the return was over after the defeat in the round of 16. He played 170 international matches in which he scored 583 goals.

Glandorf is left-handed in handball, but writes with his right hand. The trained forwarding agent married his long-time friend Christin in the old town hall in Neuenhaus at the beginning of 2008 . The couple have two sons.
