Lasse Mikkelsen (born May 19, 1988 in Dronninglund Kommune ) is a Danish handball player who plays for the German Bundesliga club MT Melsungen .

Career

Mikkelsen played for Aalborg Håndbold until 2009 before moving to KIF Kolding . The 1.97 meter tall backcourt player took part in the EHF Champions League with KIF in the 2009/10 and 2010/11 seasons . From 2011 he was under contract with Skjern Håndbold . He won the Danish Cup with Skjern in the 2013/14 and 2015/16 seasons. For the 2017/18 season he moved to the German Bundesliga club MT Melsungen , with whom he signed a three-year contract.

Mikkelsen made his debut on June 20, 2015 in the international match against Poland in the Danish national team , for which he has appeared four times so far.
