Career

At the age of 16, Reichmann had his first appearances in the regional league for LHC Cottbus . Two years later he scored 131 field goals. In the 2006/07 season he made it to the 2nd handball league with Cottbus . In the 2007/08 season he scored 179 goals in the 2. Bundesliga North, including 51 seven meters . That was only enough for 18th and last place in the league, which led to relegation. With the national junior team of the DHB he became vice European champion in Romania in 2008 . He then moved to the 2nd team of SC Magdeburg in the 2nd Bundesliga North and was able to throw 102 goals in 24 games. With a 28:40 defeat against HSV Hamburg , he was eliminated from the DHB Cup in the second round. This season he also tore his cruciate ligament and had to take a six-month break. For the 2009/10 season he moved to THW Kiel in the 1st Bundesliga . He stayed there until 2012. In his first season for THW, he played 21 games in which he threw 23 goals. At the end of the season he became German champion and won the Champions League . In the DHB Cup he was eliminated with the THW in the quarter-finals after they lost against VfL Gummersbach with 35:28. However, he was not called up for the game. In the 2010/11 season he was in a game at FC Barcelona , with Christian Zeitz , the best thrower of his team with seven goals. On February 5, 2011 he made his first appearance on the national team. In the game against the HBL All-Star Team , he scored three goals. He was often used in the league and Champions League because Christian Sprenger was injured frequently. As a result, he has so far scored 49 goals in the league and 23 goals in the Champions League. He threw the most goals in the league against TSV Hannover-Burgdorf , where he scored six times. He also scored six goals in the game against KIF Kolding and reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League with THW, where he met FC Barcelona for the fourth time and was eliminated. During the season he also took part in the DHB Cup Final Four for the first time , which he won with THW Kiel against SG Flensburg-Handewitt . He scored a goal in the final. From May 14th to 18th, 2011, Reichmann took part in the world championship for club teams with the THW Kiel . There he won the final against BM Ciudad Real , where he also contributed a goal to the victory. In May 2012 he became German champion with the THW Kiel and won both the DHB Cup and the EHF Champions League .
Reichmann then moved to HSG Wetzlar , where he quickly rose to become one of the top performers. As a result, he was appointed to his first appearance for the German national team for the international match against Serbia on September 22, 2012 . In January 2013 he played for Germany at the World Cup in Spain. For the 2014/15 season Reichmann moved to the Polish club KS Kielce , with which he signed a three-year contract. With KS Kielce he won the double of championship and cup in 2015 . In December of the next season he was called up for the European Championship in Poland. During the entire tournament he was a regular player and top performer. On January 31, 2016, Reichmann and the national team became European champions by beating Spain in the final. In the course of the tournament he scored 46 goals and was the second top scorer in the European Championship. He was also elected to the All-Star Team as the right winger of the tournament . At the end of the 2015/16 season he was able to defend the championship and the cup with Kielce. He also won after a dramatic final, in which he threw eight goals and converted his attempt in the seven-meter throw, the EHF Champions League and thus the triple . At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , he won the bronze medal with the German team. For this he was awarded the silver bay leaf on November 1, 2016 . For the European Championship 2018 he was appointed to the 20-man squad by national coach Christian Prokop , who did the preparation. On January 7th, he was appointed to the final 16-man squad and will take part in the 2018 European Championship. He has played 82 games so far in which he scored 242 goals.
For the 2017/18 season he moved to the German club MT Melsungen .
