Roman Duco Sidorowicz (born August 8, 1991 in Thalwil , Canton of Zurich ) is a Swiss handball player .

Life

Sidorowicz grew up in Horgen and began handball training in 1998 at the Horgen Handball Club. In 2006 he moved to ZMC Amicitia Zurich , where he ran through all junior teams. In 2010, he debuted with the ZMC in the National League A . In 2010, ZMC merged with the Grasshopper Club Zurich to form GC Amicitia Zurich , for which he became a member from then on. During the 2014/15 season he moved to Pfadi Winterthur .

In December 2018 Sidorowicz signed a professional contract with German Bundesliga club MT Melsungen . After the 2018/19 season, he finished 5th with the team; his contract term was extended by one year to 2019/20. From the 2020 season he finally received a four-year contract with his old club, Pfadi Winterthur.

From 2010 to 2012, Sidorowicz played eleven games for the Polish U21 national team and nine games for the Polish B selection.

Sidorowicz has played 62 international matches for the Swiss national team since 2014, scoring 144 goals.
