Michael Allendorf (born September 16, 1986 in Heppenheim ) is a German handball player . He has played in the handball Bundesliga for MT Melsungen since the 2010/2011 season .

Career

Allendorf began his career at HC VfL Heppenheim before playing in the C and B youth at HSG Bensheim / Auerbach . He then moved to SG Wallau / Massenheim , where he first played in the A youth team, later in the regional league team and at times in the first division team. In his last A youth year in Wallau, he celebrated winning the German Youth Championship. For the junior national team he played 36 and for the youth national team 12 internationals. In 2006 Allendorf then moved to HSG Wetzlar . In mid-January 2010, both HSG Wetzlar and Michael Allendorf announced that Allendorf's contract with HSG Wetzlar had been extended to June 30, 2012. On February 17, 2010, the league competitor MT Melsungen then announced the commitment of Allendorf for the 2010/11 season. The contract extension with the HSG Wetzlar was only an oral commitment from Allendorf, which is non-binding in this form. The DHB game rules stipulate the written form.

He played his first international game on September 26, 2007 in the Rittal Arena Wetzlar against Romania .
