The handball games for the 201213 men's DHB Cup took place between August 2012 and April 2013. The final round, the Final Four , was played on April 13 and 14, 2013 at O ₂ World in Hamburg . The THW Kiel won the cup .

The game dates for the 1st round were 25/26. August 2012, for the 2nd round the 26th September 2012 and for the 3rd round the 24th October 2012. The round of 16 took place on 11/12. December 2012, the quarter-finals took place on February 6, 2013 and the Final Four on 13/14. April 2013. In the 1st cup championship round, the clubs were divided into two groups according to geographical aspects. In the rounds up to the quarter-finals, the lower division always had the home right over the higher division.
