Jonathan Stenbäcken (born January 7, 1988 in Vårgårda ) is a Swedish handball player .
Career
Stenbäcken was under contract with IK Sävehof until summer 2011 . With Sävehof he played five times in a row in the EHF Cup from 2006 to 2010 . In the 2011/12 season he played for the German Bundesliga club Füchse Berlin . In the summer of 2012 he moved to league rivals MT Melsungen . In 2014 he returned to his home country and joined the IFK Kristianstad club . With Kristianstad he won the Swedish championship in 2015. In the summer of 2015 he returned to Germany and played for TBV Lemgo , where he signed a two-year contract. He has been under contract with the Danish first division club Skjern Håndbold since summer 2017 . With Skjern he won the Danish championship in 2018.
Jonathan Stenbäcken is part of the Swedish national team , with which he took part in the 2009 World Cup in Croatia and the 2012 European Championship in Serbia . He also took part in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro .
