The Spielgemeinschaft Köndringen / Teningen eV is a handball club from the towns of Köndringen and Teningen .
history
The syndicate was founded on July 30, 1972 through the merger of the handball departments of TV Köndringen and TuS Teningen.
From then on, the men's team played in the major league until it was promoted to the new regional league in 1981. In 1986 the team celebrated the championship in the regional league and rose to the 2nd handball league . The SG Köndringen / Teningen rose, however, in their first second division season (1986/87) back into the regional league. Until the 1999/2000 season , the team was able to hold out in the regional league, but then rose to the Baden-Württemberg Oberliga . After only one season, the direct rise in 2001 as master of the Baden-Württemberg Oberliga in the Regionalliga Süd and in the following season (2001/02) succeeded in direct relegation. Once again, the team, this time as runner-up, managed to gain direct promotion and since then (2003/04) they have been in the Regionalliga Süd, which has been in the newly formed 3rd League South since the 2010/2011 season .
The team was able to qualify for the DHB Cup several times . In the 1988/1989, 1994/1995 and 2004/2005 seasons, they even reached the round of 16. Here the team was eliminated from a first division club.

The first team of SG Köndringen / Teningen has been trained by Dane Ole Andersen since the 2011/2012 season. He took over the team from Wolfgang Ehrler , who gave up his position as a coach after 17 years.

2nd men's team
The 2nd men's team of SG Köndringen / Teningen is trained by Manfred Chaumet and played in the South Baden League in the 2011/2012 season. After a year, the team rose again at the end of the 2011/12 season in the national league after they had lost the relegation games against TV Wolfach. In the 2012/13 season the team reached second place and was allowed to participate in the relegation for promotion to the South Baden League, but was subject to the SG Kappelwindeck-Steinbach.
3. Men's team
In the 2011/2012 season the 3rd men's team of SG Köndringen / Teningen was promoted to the district league.
1st women's team
The first women's team is trained by Michael Bühler and has been playing in the district class since the 2013/2014 season.
youth
The youth department of SG Köndringen / Teningen includes A, B, C and D youth for male youths, A, C and D youth for women, as well as a mixed E youth and minis.
A-youth male
The A-youth of SG Köndringen / Teningen is trained by Volker Schwark. Under Wolfgang Ehrler the qualification for the A-Jugend Handball-Bundesliga 2012/13 succeeded in the season 2011/12 which she finished in 6th place and thus qualified for the season 2013/14 . This was completed with the 11th place but does not qualify for participation in the A-Jugend Handball-Bundesliga 2014/15 .
