South Baden Cup (handball)

The SBHV-Pokal (also called real -Cup or Südbadischer Verein Pokal ) is the association cup of the Südbadischer Handballverband.

Since the 2011/2012 season, all teams in the 3rd division , the Baden-Württemberg Oberliga , the Südbaden Liga and the Landesliga have been compulsory. Teams from the 3rd division and the Baden-Württemberg Oberliga have a bye in the first round. The cup round games are played according to the knockout system without a second leg. The losing club is eliminated. The four best teams have been taking part in the Final Four tournament since the 2000/01 season . The semi-finals will be drawn here. The losers play for third place (2 × 15 minutes) and the winners play for the final (2 × 30 minutes). The winner of the competition qualifies for the first main round of the DHB Cup of the following season.
